Category 1

General Questions

Ihsan Online School delivers adaptable online education for students in Years 3-11 (Ages 7-16). We follow recognised standards aligned with the English National Curriculum and prepare students for GCSE and IGCSE examinations.

We follow recognised educational standards and our teachers hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK qualifications. We prepare students for official GCSE/IGCSE examinations through registered exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge).

We serve families across the UK and internationally. Our flexible scheduling accommodates different time zones where possible.

We combine expert UK teaching with adaptable online education — personalised pathways, flexible scheduling, small class sizes, and transparent communication. We focus on the whole child, not just grades.

Yes. All new students can join our free trial period from 15th August to 30th September 2026. This includes full access to live classes, platform features, and teacher support with no obligation to enroll.

Programmes & Curriculum

We teach Years 3-11, covering Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6), Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8), and Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11 for GCSE/IGCSE preparation).

Core subjects: English, Maths, Science. Humanities: History, Geography, Business Studies. Languages: French, Spanish, Arabic. Plus Computing, Art & Design, and PSHE. Subject availability may vary by year group.

Yes, our programmes align with recognised standards based on the English National Curriculum for KS2 and KS3, and prepare students for major GCSE and IGCSE examination boards.

Yes. Our Subject Support and 1-on-1 Tutoring options allow students to receive help in specific subjects without enrolling in a full programme.

Yes. Our 1-on-1 Tutoring provides fully personalised sessions with a dedicated teacher, tailored to your child’s specific goals and learning style.

Through weekly homework with feedback, class participation, termly assessments, and progress reports. For KS4, we also provide mock exams and predicted grades.

Admissions & Enrollment

Start by booking a free assessment via our online form. Our admissions team will contact you within 24-48 hours to schedule your consultation and guide you through next steps.

No. There are no application or registration fees. You only pay after the free trial period ends if you choose to continue.

Yes. We accept rolling admissions throughout the year. We’ll assess your child’s level and provide support to catch up on any missed content.

A 30-minute consultation with an education advisor to discuss your child’s needs, evaluate their current level, and recommend the best programme. No obligation to enroll.

Some year groups may have waiting lists due to our small class sizes. We recommend booking early to secure your child’s place.

Yes. We welcome students from around the world. We accommodate different time zones where possible and provide guidance on exam registration for international candidates.

Fees & Payment

Fees apply from 1st October 2026, after the free trial period ends (15th August – 30th September 2026).

Platform & Technology

A laptop or tablet (smartphone not recommended for classes), webcam, microphone, speakers/headphones, and a stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps).

No. Our platform runs entirely in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — latest versions recommended).

While the platform is mobile-responsive, we recommend a laptop or tablet for the best learning experience, especially for interactive activities and homework submission.

Our technical support team is available via email, phone, or live chat. We also provide setup guides and troubleshooting resources in the parent portal.

Yes. All live classes are recorded and available 24/7 for review or catch-up. Recordings are stored securely and accessible only to enrolled families.

Yes. We use encrypted connections, secure login credentials, moderated access, and GDPR-compliant data handling. All teachers are trained in online safeguarding.

Category 6

Safeguarding & safety

Our platform features secure login, moderated classrooms, disabled student-to-student messaging, and logged interactions. All teachers are DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained.

Yes. All teaching staff undergo enhanced DBS checks (or international equivalent), identity verification, reference checks, and mandatory safeguarding training before working with students.

Contact our Safeguarding Lead immediately at safeguarding@ihsanonlineschool.com. All concerns are investigated promptly and confidentially, with parent notification.

Yes. Our comprehensive safeguarding policies follow UK best practices and are available for review in the parent portal or upon request.

Parents are welcome to observe during the first week to help their child settle in. After that, we encourage student independence while maintaining full transparency via the parent portal.

Category 7

Teaching & Teachers

All teachers hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualifications, with experience in British curriculum education.

Our teaching team includes UK-based educators and international teachers with UK curriculum experience. All meet the same rigorous qualification and vetting standards.

Teachers complete specialised training in online pedagogy, platform tools, engagement strategies, and digital safeguarding before teaching live classes.

We match students with teachers based on subject expertise, learning style, and availability. If you have a specific request, please discuss it during your admissions call.

Feedback is provided through marked homework, progress reports, and direct communication via the parent portal. For KS4, we also provide mock exam reviews and grade predictions.

We prioritise student-teacher fit. If concerns arise, contact our Head of Teaching & Learning and we’ll work to find the best solution.

Category 8

Support & Communication

Email admin@ihsanonlineschool.com, use the contact form on our website, or message via the parent portal. We respond within 24 hours on school days.

Your Parent Support Manager is your primary contact for day-to-day questions. For academic matters, you can also message your child’s teacher directly.

Weekly homework feedback, termly progress reports, and real-time grade tracking via the parent portal. For KS4, we also provide mock exam results and predicted grades.

Yes. Parents can message teachers via the parent portal or request a consultation during scheduled parent-teacher meeting times.

Contact your Parent Support Manager or teacher immediately. We offer additional support sessions, adjusted learning plans, and 1-on-1 tutoring options to help students catch up.

Yes. We host periodic webinars on topics like online safety, exam preparation, and supporting learning at home. Resources are available in the parent portal.
